Members are invited closer to the heart of Darkwater Fins, where ideas are formed, stories take shape, and new creations rise from the deep. Each ambassador brings a distinct voice and magic, helping guide the unseen forces that shape Darkwater’s world.

Loreley Pearl Beach Mermaid
Loreley's mersona is a combination of personal history and family heritage. She was born in Germany in a city along the Rhine River, and the name Loreley was chosen to honor both her birthplace and her father’s ancestry, drawing inspiration from the Loreley lore associated with the Rhine.
The name Pearl comes from her great-grandmother’s middle name and also references the conch pearls of San Angelo, where her grandmother lived.
Her mersona embodies the energy and wonder of mother of pearl and abalone shine. She has always been drawn to pearls and the iridescent lining of shells, finding inspiration in their subtle, shifting luminosity.
Her mythology inspired by the Loreley legends of Germany’s Rhine River, blended with her passion for marine biology.
Gulf Coast Merman: Merman Auggie
From the sun-drenched shores of the Texas coastline to the crystal-clear currents of the Florida Keys, Merman Auggie is a true Guardian of the Gulf. A captivating figure of the deep, Auggie blends the magic of the ocean with a heartbeat fueled by rhythm and style.
When he finds his "land legs," Auggie pours his creativity into Drenched in Style, his premier salon suite. As the owner and lead stylist, he brings the effortless, flowing beauty of the ocean to his clients. Specializing in looks that feel fresh, hydrated, and high-fashion, Auggie ensures that everyone leaves his chair feeling like royalty of the deep.

Seriney the Siren
Born from the rugged coastline of the Pacific Northwest, Seriney the Siren carries the lore and magic of the high seas into the circle. These waters are treacherous and commanding, much like the old tales that shape her aesthetic.
She exists as both a warning and a guardian: a reminder not to underestimate the ocean. Her love for the environment, music, and all things nerdy shapes her mersona, always accompanied by her trusty conch shell . Through creative expression and modeling, Seriney explores deep emotion, presence, and connection, pushing the boundaries of beauty and striving to exist in harmony with the natural world.
An engineer by day, she also hopes to inspire more women and non-binary individuals to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), proving that logic and creativity can coexist, powerfully.
Merfolk Nettles
Merfolk Nettles hails from the Great Black Swamp of northwest Ohio.
They love wild spaces and all sorts of creatures, extinct and extant. Drawing inspiration from nature, Nettles combines attire and makeup to create colorful "lurks".
Nettles helps others learn to flip their fins whether it's in the real world as a PADI Mermaid Instructor, or in the fantasy worlds of tabletop gaming. They want to inspire others to keep playing and exploring no matter what their age.
Mermaid Maylys
Mermaid Maylys is a mystical presence whose essence is as fluid as the waters. Shifting between gracious Goddess energy, Water Witch wisdom, and crafty mischief, she reveals herself in many moods, embodying both a gentle, guiding presence and a playful mermaid lost in the joy of the moment.
Her journey through mermaiding is deeply personal and rooted in self-healing. She moves through life with a deep understanding of its currents, embracing both the light and the dark, navigating the depths of trauma and emerging stronger, wiser, and more magical.
Through her mermaid persona, Maylys aims to inspire others to embrace the waves of change, the light and dark alike, to step into their own power and find their own magic in the healing depths.
